Lonergan Reservoir

Lonergan Reservoir is a 130-acre reservoir located in the Sandhills region of Nebraska, approximately 18 miles north of Mullen. It was created by the construction of a dam on the Middle Loup River in 1948, primarily for irrigation purposes. The reservoir is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and camping. The water is home to a variety of fish species, including largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, and crappie.
